The GLX90MT Magnetic Targets with Target Loc™ adjustable magnetic targets attach to the sheaves, intersect the laser beam and visually show any sheave misalignments. The GLX90 Combination Laser System uses bright green laser light to align belt transmission drive systems or extend a level reference. The GLX90 magnetically attaches to sheaves and projects a plane of laser light parallel with the faces of drive and driven sheaves.

How the GLX90 Combination Laser System is used to align Sheaves on belt transmission and gear box systems:
- The GLX90 projects a parallel plane of laser light from a drive sheave across the face of a driven sheave and onto the GLX90MT Magnetic Target with Target Loc™. This visibly shows any misalignment correction information.
- The sheaves and motors are then adjusted so that the two sheaves are aligned parallel and inline. This minimizes belt and sheave wear and motor bearing, lateral friction wear. These Horizontal, Vertical and Offset alignment corrections improve power transmission efficiency and lower operating costs.
This means with one laser tool you can:
- Align Sheaves, Belts and Motors
- Extend the Level Reference with a Precision Laser Beam
- Perform Layouts and shoot Slopes and Grades
- Use a Laser Beam to take measurements and improve accuracy
The adjustable combination turret selects either the sheave alignment feature or the precision green laser beam that extends the level reference. A 5-minute of arc, phosphorescent, back-lit level vial provides a horizontal level reference along with two vertical plumb vials for vertical and plumb measurements. This means the GLX90 Combination Laser System can shoot level, grade, or slope using the built-in Precision Green Laser Beam.
